RECENT EVENTS
Palm Beach, FL – Commando Krav Maga Founder and Chief Instructor Moni
Aizik recently conducted a Law Enforcement Training course at the
Criminal Justice Institute in Florida to Police Tactical Defense
instructors from across the United States. With the help of one of our
talented CKM certified Instructors, Johnny Medero, the Law
Enforcement course was a huge success!
Many of the Tactical Defense instructors had long standing backgrounds
in martial arts training but commented that CKM was one of the
most practical, effective and innovative approaches to tactical
defense they had ever experienced.
CKM, Moni and Johnny made a lasting impression in the hearts of
Law Enforcement personnel in the United States. We believe that this
success will help build the positive momentum of the upcoming Law
Enforcement Instructor Certification courses!

IT'S BEEN 2 WEEKS SINCE I COMPLETED THE CKM L.E. INSTRUCTORS COURSE IN HOUSTON. I WANT TO THANK MONI AND DAVID CLARK FOR PUTTING ON A FANTASTIC COURSE.
I'VE BEEN A POLICE OFFICER FOR 17 YEARS, AND THIS WAS FAR AND AWAY THE MOST INTENSIVE AND REALISTIC TRAINING IN MY CAREER. UPON MY RETURN TO WORK, I MET WITH (2) OF THE DEFENSIVE TACTICS INSTRUCTORS FOR MY DEPARTMENT. I EXPLAINED HOW SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE CKM IS, AND HOW EFFECTIVE IT IS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT. ONE DT INSTRUCTOR WANTS ME TO TEACH CKM TO OUR OFFICERS DURING OUR ANNUAL TRAINING, AND I WORKED OUT WITH THE OTHER DT INSTRUCTOR FOR (2) HRS. AFTER WORK. IT'S DEFINATELY GOING TO BECOME A PART OF THE STANDARD DEFENSE TRAINING FOR MY DEPARTMENT.
I JUST WANT TO THANK MY FELLOW STUDENTS IN THE CLASS FOR THEIR PATIENCE, AND THEIR WILLINGNESS TO HELP ME WHEN I "JUST WASN'T GETTIN' IT!" I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT CKM IS LIKE A FAMILY, AND I'VE NEVER TRAINED WITH A BETTER, MORE PROFESSIONAL GROUP OF PEOPLE.
TAKE CARE MY FRIENDS,
LANCE F.

Moni,
I am very grateful for the opportunity to have trained in the best reality based street survival system in the world. I am an experienced operator, both as a former U.S. Military Special Operations Unit member and as a full time S.W.A.T Officer. Every hand to hand combat system I have ever taken failed in comparison to what I learned from you in the Commando Krav Maga Law Enforcement Instructor Course.
I am currently the defensive tactics instructor for my entire department and up to this point I have taught international defense systems taught in every department across the country. I will never teach those systems again after being certified in this wonderful system. I have to tell other departments that may have a chance to read this, YOU CAN NOT AFFORD NOT TO SEND YOUR OFFICERS THROUGH THIS TRAINING. IT WILL SAVE THEIR LIVES AND MAKE THEM MORE PROFESSIONAL WHEN DEALING WITH SUSPECTS! The CKM Law Enforcement system is simple to learn and again, more effective than any other system I have ever seen. This has truly been a pivotal moment in both my personal and professional life. Moni’s motto says it best, “Simplicity is Genius”. Moni Aizik is a pioneer, a gentleman, a master of master’s, and some one I am very honored to call my friend.
Thanks for the incredible gift of knowledge.
Sincerely,
Sergeant Lee Verni

Hello Moni:
I just wanted to let you know you and Johnny were a BIG HIT with the class you
just taught.
I have the evaluations in front of me and here are just some of the comments:
“All officers in Palm Beach County should be required to attend Moni’s class.”
“Every Cop should be required to attend Moni’s training.”
“Moni is one of the best instructors I have had in 20 years of martial arts
training.”
“This class should be mandatory for ALL law enforcement.”
“BEST class I have ever attended.”
Based on the course evaluations, I think you would be an asset to the
conference that is attended by High Liability Trainers (Firearms, Defensive
Tactics, Driving, and First Aid) from across the state of Florida.
This past year, 2007, the conference was attended by over 500 law enforcement
trainers…
God Bless!
Sincerely,
Director Patrick M. Kelly

Dear Mr Aizik,
I wish
to thank you on behalf of the Metropolitan Police Service Officer
Safety Unit for the excellent three-day instructor’s course that
our officer, Daniel Killeen attended. The Metropolitan Police
Service, through the Officer Safety Unit constantly strives to
develop appropriate training packages for police officers and
staff. As part of this process we welcome demonstrations in new
methodologies from established trainers. Your course was well
received by Officer Killeen,
who is
in the process of feeding back the techniques to the rest of the
unit.
We will
consider using your services in the future.
Yours
sincerely,
Robert

Moni,
I wanted to send an e-mail and thank you for the awesome one week
Law Enforcement Training Boot Camp.
It was an experience I will never FORGET!
Next year will be 20 years, training in martial arts, and coming
from Aikido and Gracie Jui Jitsu, which I
still train. Your course has to be the most intensive training I
can ever remember. Even more important, the
physical challenge didn't come from performing sit ups or push ups
but from the continuous repetition of
techniques.
I cannot get over how practical the Commando Krav Maga techniques
are yet so biomechanically sound. I also want to thank you for so
much information
dealing with the psychology of a violent encounter and the mind
set.
As a Narcotics Agent, I intend on bringing back all the knowledge
you have shared back to my unit and
department.
I feel the information on reality combat fighting needs to spread
through out our law enforcement
community in response to the ever increasing violent crimes that
are being committed. Many of the martial
arts today address fighting from a sport perspective and not a
street survival as Commando Krav Maga does.
Because I was so impressed with Commando Krav Maga, I intend on
now applying for the CKM Instructor Course
to continue to spread CKM to my community.
Thank you again for an experience I will never forget and may save
my life one day.

Moni,
After a decade of studying traditional martial arts to include some arts that
are clearly more realistic for self defense than others, in addition to
studying another reality based system, and being involved with other martial
art organizations, I have clearly found a home and a family. I am 100%
convinced CKM is the fastest growing reality based system in the world due to
your utmost professionalism, close relationships you have with your students,
and clearly creating and sharing the best reality based system in the world
with others. You and your instructors are clearly concerned with all of your
students' progress and want to see people improve not just in your system but
in life.
The intensive instructor's course/boot camp was as physically and mentally
challenging as Marine Corps boot camp and two law enforcement academies I have
attended.
I can't wait to practice what I have learned, pass on the knowledge to others,
maintain the friendships I have gained with you and the CKM family throughout
the year, and come back for more next year.
Moni and Combat Survival are clearly the best of the best! I highly recommend
training with and learning from Moni or any instructor of the CKM family. It
will be a life changing experience. Among many life lessons you will learn,
courage, strength, and the will to succeed overcome adversity.

Hello Moni,
On behalf of
myself and Officer Rich Dunleavy I wanted to thank you for coming to the Palm
Beach Community College Law Enforcement Training Center and putting on the
Krav Maga four day seminar.
I had a pretty
good feeling that the seminar was going to be good when I was working on
getting you down to Florida but I never dreamed that it was going to be as
good as it was. I have been doing martial arts for about fifteen years along
with working out to stay in shape. Your instruction and demonstration of the
techniques along with your patients are light years ahead of any instruction
or instructor I have ever had. I also noticed that you physical fitness
standards are impeccable.
I have been in law
enforcement for twenty–three years and attended many defensive tactics and
tactical classes and never had an instructor push a class as hard as you did.
It is easy to see that you have a heartfelt dedication to your craft and to
the success of your students.
I hope to bring
you back to Palm Beach County for another law enforcement seminar. I’m working
on that as I write this.
Until then, I am
working out hard with a few of the other students to keep the techniques
sharp, reviewing my DVD’s, and working on my fitness level with a goal of the
August boot camp (instructor level) in Pembroke Pines, Fla.
Until then, stay
safe and all the best to you and the CKM family.

Moni,
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the CKM Law Enforcement
Seminar in West Palm Beach FL. It was by far the best defensive tactics
training I've ever attended. The gun/knife defense and disarming techniques
were excellent, and easy to learn. As you said, "Simplicity is Genius." And
the little bit of ground work that we got into was great. It really made me
look at ground fighting a little differently. With full contact fighting like UFC
& Pride becoming so popular, and as officers train in Jui Jitsu, Judo, etc., I
believe now we may be becoming too comfortable on the ground. Street fighting
is not a controlled environment, and there will no referee to stop double and
triple teaming. Or stop a subject from pulling a gun or knife once on the
ground. You react how you train, so if your taken to the ground in a real
street fight with no rules, will you pull guard? Or will you get back to your
feet in 5 seconds and try to create distance, us weapons, etc.? It makes you
stop and think. If your in law enforcement or corrections and have the
opportunity, get in this class. I promise you, you won't regret it. BUT......
If your coming to the class to hang out with your friends and take long
breaks, then this class is probably not for you. On the contrary, if you want
to start learning within the first 10 minutes of class, work HARD for a good
8+ hours a day, and by end of a 32 hour week be exhuasted, bruised and know in
your heart that you now posess techniques that greatly increase your chances
of not just surviving, but winning in a gun or knife situation, then take
Moni's class. God Bless and be safe.

Greetings Moni, it is a great honor for me to be able to sit
here and type you this letter, my name is Brian Mathews, we
spoke over the telephone over a year ago when I decided to make
one of the wisest investments of my life when I purchased
volumes 1-5 of Combat Survival. In the time since I first
received those DVD's I have been hooked to Combat Survival
absorbing as much as I can like a sponge.
I have shared many of your techniques
with my co-workers, I decided then to develop a commando program
of my own with intense physical training regimines and by
practicing Combat Survival Commando Krav Maga. I want to say
that you have been such a great influence on me and my life both
personally and professionally, and a role model I can say I am
proud to look up to. I want to thank you again for
creating such a remarkable system that can teach decent law
abiding citizens of the world to defend themselves from the
evils of society.
Again I wish to thank you for being such a positive influence
aplease give my best to all the members of your organization.
Respectfully Submitted,
Brian F. Mathews

Dear
Moni,
I recently attended your four day law enforcement
training seminar in Palm Beach, Florida, and I wanted to express my appreciation for all
the effort you put into our class. I am a federal law enforcement officer
with over 21 years of experience. I serve in my agency as a firearms
instructor, defensive tactics instructor, tactical (street survival)
instructor, and a SWAT team member. I have also studied various martial arts
for numerous years and teach martial arts/ self defense. I mention all this
because I have found your course to be among the best training that I have
received over the years. It has added considerably to my knowledge of
unarmed defense. I was particularly impressed with the amount of time spent
on edged weapon defense. I believe the techniques, while technical, were not
overly complex, and have real street applicability. Despite the intensity of
the class and bruises endured by all, it was a very worthwhile experience. I
hope to continue my study of the Commando Krav Maga system through the DVDs
and additional classes. Thanks again for everything.
Sincerely,
Kurt Huertas

I would like to express my appreciation for
your system, Commando Krav Maga. I have studied many Self Defense
DVDs, from many different instructors. Mostly dealing with Special
Forces hand to hand combat, from Navy Seals, to Delta Force, to
Black Ops hand to hand, including Gun, Knife, & Stick Disarms.
Even from Haganah and Krav Maga, from a different source. I
consider your system the equivalent to a "Post Graduate Level
Course".
I am an International Captain flying DC - 10 aircraft all over the
world , I would be happy to recommend your System to anyone who is
interested in learning serious Self Defense.
Thanks for your excellent instruction

Moni,
I wanted to write and congratulate you on running what was a very
technical and challenging course. As you know I have undergone
numerous training programs, both government and non-government, in
the past and can state that your CKM Level 2 instructors program
was among the best training I have undertaken. I look forward to
continuing to refine the techniques you have shown me and further
develop my skill in CKM.

I responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. A female officer arrived before I did and found the suspect, who has a lengthy history of assault, criminal domestic violence, assaulting police, etc. trying to leave the scene. He was drunk and also jacked up on coke. She snatched him up and had him up against her patrol car but he was resisting her. I arrived on scene and observed his resistance. He is about 6 ft tall/190 lbs.
I went up and immediately got a handcuff on his right wrist. At that moment he turned away from the female officer towards me very quickly and wrapped up tightly with me, taking us both to the ground. He had both arms around my midsection and his head burrowed under my right armpit. I then felt his left hand grab at my gun and try to pull it out of the holster and I felt his right hand going for my Taser in the same manner.
Due to the way we were wrapped up I did not have access to my gun. At that time I wrapped my right arm all the way around his head and reached for his left eye. I found it. I ended up putting my middle finger into his eye up past my 2nd knuckle. He raised his head up and I quickly gave him 3 elbows to the same eye, did a head twist on him, and rolled us both over to where he was completely on top of me. This fully exposed his back and the other officer was able to Tase him, at which time we got him cuffed.
Needless to say he went to the hospital, and while his eye looked a mess it appears he won''t lose it. He is now facing several charges that will put him away for a very long time. During the entire incident I remained perfectly calm and never was worried or concerned about anything. I owe all of that to my CKM training.
